This case study is a 3D regional NAMMU model of the Gorleben site in Germany. The following NAMMU and AVIZIER applications are demonstrated.

  • Complex faulting and layering represented using NAMMU finite-elements
  • Contours of groundwater pressure
  • Isosurfaces of groundwater pressure
  • Vectors of groundwater velocity
  • Advective pathlines showing groundwater return paths
