The aims of this project were to build confidence in the use of NAPSAC A project team from the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) and the National Environmental Management Centre (NEMAC) were developing proposals for the development of an Underground Research Laboratory (URL) at their Taejon site in South Korea. Before construction of the URL, an understanding of the effect of the construction on the groundwater flow in the region needs to be developed. Serco Assurance provided consultancy and training to the KAERI/NEMAC project team in support of the proposals for the URL over a period of three years.
