full range of capabilities related to the assessment of routine and accidental
discharges from nuclear facilities. We
have a sizeable team with experience in the area and can therefore respond
to unexpected requirements for support. Our technical capabilities lie
in
the following areas:
- Modelling
the transport and dispersal of radionuclides in the environment
- Calculation
of consequences of discharges by means of a Range of Performance Measures
- Estimation
of source terms for accidental releases from nuclear facilities
- Selection
of parameter values, based on recommendations by national and international
organisations, and supplemented by detailed knowledge of the current literature.
- Experienced
with a range software and spreadsheet tools, both developed by ourselves
and other industry standards, including PC CREAM, PC-COSYMA,
and CONDOR
- Development
of strategies for monitoring and characterisation of releases
- Communication
and the production of documents for regulatory submission.
