Description
The application properties dialog box is used to set the properties of the
GeoVisage application.
The application properties dialog box is displayed by selecting
Properties from the File menu of
the main window or by clicking the Properties button in the
Tool bar of the main window.
Buttons
The application properties dialog box has three buttons at the bottom:
- OK
- Applies the settings and closes the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Discards any changes since the last Apply, if any, and
closes the dialog box.
- Apply
- Applies the settings and leaves the dialog box open.
Background colour
Sets the background colour of the render panel.
The colour is chosen by clicking the adjacent coloured box and selecting the colour
from the colour browser.
Coordinate axes
Coordinate axes are a set of X, Y, Z axes that display a graduated scale in
metres in the render panel. The axes rotate with the rendered image.
- Show coordinate axes
- The coordinate axes can be shown or hidden using the Show coordinate axes
check box.
- Axes colour
- Sets the colour of the axes.
The colour is chosen by clicking the adjacent coloured box and selecting the colour
from the colour browser.
- No. ticks
- Sets the number of tick marks on the axes.
The image below shows a rendered image with a light green background and black
coordinate axes with 5 tick marks per axis.
