Feature Properties

Description

The feature properties dialog box is used to set the properties of the selected features. If one or more folders have been selected then the properties are applied to any features below those folders.
The feature properties dialog box is displayed by selecting one or more items in the session tree and choosing Properties from the right-click menu. Only one feature properties dialog box can be open at once, so this menu item is disabled if the dialog box is already open. If the dialog box is required for a different set of features then the open dialog box must be closed first.

Colour

Sets colour related properties of features, including colouring by attribute, isosurfaces and transparency.

Stripping

Defines how parts of features can be selectively removed from the rendered image.

Slices

Allows one or more slices to be taken through features.

Transformation

Allows features to be transformed by rotation, translation and scaling.

Lighting

Controls the lighting properties applied to features.

Annotation

Sets the annotation text properties of those features that use annotation.
