The render panel displays the 3D image of the visible features in the current session.
Note that while an image is being manipulated, a simplified version of the image, such as a point or outline representation, may be displayed to keep the movement reasonably quick.
There are three scroll bars that rotate the image around each of the
three screen axes.
Note that the screen axes do not necessarily correspond to the 3D axes currently
used by the model in the session.
The left scroll bar rotates the image around the Z screen axis (the axis coming
out of the screen).
The bottom scroll bar rotates the image around the Y screen axis (the axis
running from top to bottom down the screen).
The right scroll bar rotates the image around the X screen axis (the axis
running from left to right across the screen).
The text box beside each scroll bar indicates the current angle of rotation from
-180o to +180o. The angle of rotation can be entered
directly into this box to jump straight to that rotation.
When a point is clicked while in pick mode, information about the selected
point is displayed in the bottom right corner of the render window. This
information is divided into three parts.
The first part gives the name of the feature that the point belongs to. This
corresponds to the item name in the session tree.
The second part gives the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the point. Each coordinate
is separated by a comma.
The third part gives any attribute value associated with the point. The
abbreviation of the attribute, e.g. Pr for residual pressure, is followed by an
equals sign and then the attribute value. This attribute will have been assigned
in the colour panel of the feature properties dialog.
