Session file formats

Session files are files that replace the current session when they are loaded.
GeoVisage can load the following session file formats:

GeoVisage session (.gvs).
GeoVisage path (.gvp) files.
NAPSAC or NAMMU model (.mdl) files.
NAMMU model (.nml) files.
NAPSAC project (.napprj) files.
CONNECTFLOW project (.conprj) files.
NAPSAC legacy visualisation path files (.avp) files.

External file formats

External files are files that can be appended to the current session when they are loaded.
GeoVisage can load the following external file formats:

Lines

Gocad polyline (.gpl) files.
XYZ polyline (.pln) files.
NAPSAC, NAMMU or CONNECTFLOW pathline summary (.ptd) files.

Surfaces

Gocad Tsurf (.tfc) files.
NAPSAC implicit fracture zone (.ifz) files.
Ordnance Survey Landform Profile or Landform Panorama files in National Transfer Format (.ntf).
Ordnance Survey Landform Profile or Landform Panorama files in AutoCad DXF format (.dxf).

Volumes

Reservoir fracture set intensity (.rfi) files.
Eclipse GRDECL grid (.dat) files.
CONNECTFLOW GID mesh (*.msh) files.
